  • AIR TRAVEL

    The TravelScoot is the world’s most recognizable and popular travel mobility scooter, not just with customers but also with airlines. As with all battery powered devices, from cell phones to personal mobility devices, there are special regulations for transport aboard passenger aircrafts. Virtually all major airlines have appropriate handling procedures as well as special information for passengers with disabilities readily available on their websites.

    Some smaller airlines often have less comprehensive information on their websites, as well as possibly less specific personnel training about passengers with special needs. While we recommend contacting your airline prior to traveling with a mobility aid in general, this is especially important with these smaller airlines. It may be that a ticket agent has little useful information on traveling with mobility scooters. In this case, please ask for their Department for Passengers with Special Needs and inform them you are traveling with a mobility scooter.

  • RETURNS

    Should you decide after your purchase, the TravelScoot mobility scooter is not the right mobility vehicle for your needs, simply return it to us in “as new” condition in the original packaging. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs* including incidental shipping damage caused by improper packing. There is a 10% restocking fee. Returns on scooters shipped for free will be assessed a $100 shipping charge.

    All returns must be made within 14 days of delivery and returned only in “as new” condition.

    This applies only to TravelScoot mobility scooters sold in Canada.
